	Financial Management and Economic Well-Being Elaine Courtney Three focus teams have collaborated to provide this in-depth, interdisciplinary training needed to provide training for the complex issue of caregiving. This training will prepare county extension educators to address the many aspects of one of the most critical issues facing families in Florida today - CAREGIVING. Nationwide nearly one out of four households (23% or 22.4 million households) are involved in caregiving for people aged 50 or over. By the year 2007 that number is expected to jump to nearly 39 million. Among this group, nearly 1/4 provides care for someone with dementia - primarily Alzheimer's disease.
